Portrait of the Artist as a Young Woman, an interview with Maria Nitulescu
An interview with Romanian artist Maria Nitulescu, who currently resides in Berlin and creates contemporary art. She has showcased her artwork and curated events around the globe. She also lectures at academies and writes for various magazines.
We are interviewing Maria to understand what inspired her to become an artist and curator, what brought her to Berlin and how she has worked to make a name for herself across Europe. How does an artist actually become an artist and what is their day-to-day life like once you have ‘made it?’ What setbacks has she had to overcome and how did she do it? How would she advise someone who dreams of becoming a artist? We will find out all of that and more in this interview.
